✅Can Teamwork Be Fun? Try the Obstacle Course Challenge

🎁This week’s challenge builds cooperation through laughter and movement.

Hello parents & teachers,

Teamwork doesn’t need a scoreboard.

This week’s mission transforms your living room or classroom into a place where kids practice cooperation, encouragement, and problem-solving through one joyful challenge.

🧩 Week 11 Mission: The Teamwork Obstacle Course

Let me tell you about Kevin and his two kids, Maya and Liam.

Kevin was tired of the constant bickering —
“It’s mine!”
“No, you go first!”

So one weekend, he turned the hallway into a simple obstacle course:

  • A pillow to hop over

  • A tape line to balance on

  • A couch to crawl under

But here’s the twist: it wasn’t a race.

“You can’t finish unless you both finish together,” he said.

At first, chaos.

Maya rushed ahead. Liam got frustrated.

But then something shifted.

Maya doubled back to help Liam balance.
Liam held the couch cushion for Maya to slide under.
They laughed. They figured it out.

And when they high-fived at the end, Kevin saw something he hadn’t seen all week—teamwork without tension.

Because the win wasn’t about speed.
It was about support.

🧾 How to Use This Week’s Mission

For Parents:
Create a mini obstacle course using pillows, tape, chairs, or toys.
The rule: No one finishes until everyone finishes.
Cheer each other on. Laugh. Repeat.

For Teachers:
Set up a short challenge using classroom items:

  • Tie shoelaces together

  • Balance books on heads

  • Carry a paper across the room as a team
    The goal: teamwork, not competition.

💭 Reflection from Master Hong

“Real strength is knowing how to lift someone else.”

Ask your child or student:
• “What’s one way you helped your teammate today?”
• “How does it feel to finish something together?”

😂 Parent Joke of the Week

Q: Why did the parent bring a ladder to the family meeting?
A: Because they heard the team needed to step up! 😄

🔜 Coming Next Week...

In Week 12, your family or class will discover the power of listening—through a playful, ninja-inspired challenge that rewards quiet focus and awareness.

Until then, keep kicking forward—and cheer each other on at every turn.
