✅ The Note That Changed Everything: Try the “I Love You Because” Mission

🎁This week’s challenge helps your child feel deeply seen—with just one sentence.

Hello parents & teachers,

There’s one thing kids of all ages want to hear—especially when they least expect it.

Not a lecture. Not advice.

Just love.

This week’s challenge brings that love to life—with one simple sentence they’ll remember forever.

😂 Parent Joke of the Week

Q: Why do kids always interrupt you when you’re busy?
A: Because that’s when your full attention becomes priceless. 😅

❤️ Week 10 Mission: The “I Love You Because” Note

Let me tell you about Angela and her son, Jonah.

Jonah was having a rough week—grumpy mornings, rushed evenings, and way too much negotiating about bedtime.

Angela was frustrated. She almost gave him a long talk.

But instead, she left a short note on his pillow:

“I love you because you try—even when you’re tired.”

The next morning, Jonah handed her a sticky note back:

“I love you because you still kiss me goodnight… even when I was grumpy.”

That changed everything.

One sentence made them both feel seen—not judged.

Now, it’s a quiet habit in their home—love notes passed back and forth like little treasures.

Because love doesn’t need to be loud.
It just needs to be real.

🧠 Words of love build a foundation kids carry for life.
If you're local, we’d love to invite your family to 2 free weeks of Tae Kwon Do at our South Jordan school.
It’s one way we help children grow stronger—inside and out.

🧾 How to Use This Week’s Mission

For Parents:
Write one sentence: “I love you because…”
Leave it somewhere unexpected—on their pillow, lunchbox, or bathroom mirror.
Invite your child to write one back (but don’t pressure them).

For Teachers:
Have students write “You’re awesome because…” notes to classmates.
Keep it short. Keep it kind.
Let them give and receive quietly—like a kindness ripple.

💭 Reflection from Master Hong

“Children don’t just need love. They need to hear why they’re loved.”

Ask your child or student:
• “What’s one thing you wish someone noticed about you?”
• “What kind of love feels the best—words, hugs, or actions?”

🔜 Coming Next Week...

Teamwork isn’t just for sports.

In Week 11, you’ll turn your home or classroom into an obstacle course of collaboration, laughter, and trust.

Until then, keep kicking forward—and don’t forget to speak love out loud.
