✅Watch What One Coin Can Do

🎁This week’s Korean wisdom reminds us: even the smallest act of generosity carries great power.

🧠 Kick Your Life™: Wisdom from Korea – Week 11

“One coin can save a life.”

Dear parents & teachers,

Sometimes, we underestimate what small things can do.

A single kind word.
A quiet smile.
A small donation.
A single helping hand.

We often think, “It’s too little to make a difference.”

But this week’s Korean proverb reminds us otherwise:

“One coin can save a life.”

In moments of hardship, even one coin—one small act—can be everything.

A Life Story

In a small town, a young man passed by a donation jar every day.
He was barely getting by himself, but he noticed it was always nearly empty.
One day, he dropped in a single coin—just one.
He didn’t think much of it.

But others saw him.

The next day, someone else gave a coin too.
By the end of the week, the jar was full.
It was enough to help a struggling neighbor pay for medicine.

It wasn’t just the coin—it was the spark.
The act of giving inspired others to give too.

📖 This Week’s Korean Wisdom

“One coin can save a life.”

This proverb teaches us that no gesture is too small.
Especially when it’s given with heart.

🛠️ Try This with Your Family or Classroom

Ask:

  • What’s one small thing we could give to help someone?

  • Can we give our time, attention, or kindness—not just money?

Try This:
Start a Kindness Jar or “One Coin” Challenge for the week:
Each time someone helps or gives—drop in a coin, note, or sticker.
At the end of the week, read the notes together or donate the coins to someone in need.

Your Weekly Kick Plan

This week, give one small thing away daily:

  • A compliment

  • A coin

  • A minute of listening

  • A note of encouragement

  • A small favor

It might seem small to you—
But it could mean everything to someone else.
